All Bürstner caravans are designed and manufactured to the highest safety standards and meet or exceed the requirements of the Australian Design Rules and International Standards. The caravans available in Australia are based on Al-Ko’s wide-track safety chassis. The chassis is fitted with independent tilted shaft axles with sealed wheel bearings, and shock absorbers, for high-stability tracking, excellent towing characteristics and lower maintenance.

The caravans are fitted with a sophisticated double-locking Al-Ko stabilising hitch and inertia brakes with automatic reverse detection, to keep the modification to the towing vehicle to a minimum.

Manoeuvring is enhanced for the 500 series caravans (1800Kg ATM), with the single axle design, large jockey wheel, grab handles at each corner of the caravan, and assisted hand brake. Combined with the weight advantage, the caravans are easy to handle and able to be towed with most family sized sedans. The excellence in design has resulted in a 100Kg ball weight.

Bürstner continually develops its product range and in cooperation with suppliers is responsible for a number of innovations in the international caravan industry. We offer four different models to the Australian market: the S 500 TS, S 520 TL, S 530 TL and the S 630TS (2000ATM), with tandem axles.
